SAILING AND CRUISES IN BALI
Sailing is a way of life in Indonesia. With over
13,677 islands scattered over an area of 5,200
kilometers in the Pacific Ocean, Indonesia offers

Island Explorer Cruises operates three kinds of different
boats to Lembongan island daily for a half-day or full day cruise.
The 60-feet sailing yacht called Island Explorer has a capacity
for 20 passengers. Equipped with the latest safety and electronic
equipment, Island princess is a 65-ft power yacht. Quick Cat,
the latest addition to the fleet, runs half-day trips at 12 noon
daily to Lembongan Bay. It is super fast, so passengers avoid motion
sickness. Guests can also opt for an overnight stay on Lembongan island.
The trip includes hotel transfers, refreshments, lunch, use of
snorkeling equipment and a village tour. Coconuts Beach Resort
on Lembongan island, managed by Island Explorer Cruisers, consists

The Ombak Putih
The Ombak Putih, a traditional Bugis schooner, is another
way to explore lndonesia's islands. Measuring 36 meters in
length, 1 0 meters in beam and 4.5 meters in draft, it
consists of one main deck and one sun deck. This
stunning-looking schooner is powered by a capacity 10,
40HP engine and has a maximum speed of 10-12 knots under
sail. It can accommodate 24 passengers in its 12 cabins.
Safety is given the utmost priority with the provision of
life rafts, life buoys, and life jackets. High tech navigation
equipment such as radar, GPS and depth sounder assures that
your sea journey is smooth, safe and fast, and hi-tech
communications equipment permits constant contact with the
