- SHOPPING HAVEN IN BALI -
In Bali, you can practically shop till you drop. In the big department stores,
prices are fixed and credit cards are accepted. However,
in smaller shops, bargaining is compulsory and cash sale is
common. Most shops open from 10am to 10 pm. You'll find that
shops selling similar items are generally grouped together.
It is the same in the villages so, for example Celuk has become
the area to go to for gold and silver, Mas for woodcarvings and
so on. Comparing prices is therefore easy as you just have to
go next door to find the same thing! If you're more into browsing
