BALI SPA - THERAPIES -
Aromatherapy :
A technique in which essential oils, blended with
natural plant base oils, are used in treating maladies.
Oils range from patchouli and ylang-ylang, to lavender
and canaga. Make sure your spa uses the purest and highest
quality oils; there are a lot of synthetic oils out there
which are cheaper but can be harmful to the skin.
Body Scrubs :
Stimulates blood circulation, adds natural minerals to
the skin, and creates a fresh and relaxing feeling for
both mind and body. Scrubs may include lulur (exfoliates
the skin and gives it radiance), boreh (creates deep,
warming heat), coconut (soothes and refreshes sensitive,
sunburned skin), and Bali coffee (invigorates the entire
body).
Reflexology :
A treatment which applies a stimulating massage of the
pressure points on the feet. Helps balance energy, disperse
built-up toxins, relieve stress, and relax the body.
Facials :
Using fresh Indonesian herbs, spices and dried tropical
fruits and vegetables such as corn, fresh cucumber or
carrot, a mask or scrub is applied. Facials deeply cleanse,
rejuvenate, refine, and tauten the skin.
Hair Treatments :
Reestablishes the balance of hair and scalp in accordance
with the individual's hair structure. Cooling leaf shampoos,
moisturizers and emulsions are most often used. The "creambath"
is the most widespread hair treatment used in Indonesia,
giving the hair the sheen that Indonesian women are renowned
for. It has been called "a passionate head massage that can
take your breath away."
Thalasso Therapy :
Utilizes seawater and sea algae, combining modern technology and
traditional methods. Discovered in France in 1869, the technique
is based on the healing and rejuvenating power of the ocean in
which rich minerals and oligo elements are absorbed into the
bloodstream and brought to every organ of your body An equilibrium
between body and mind is achieved by relying primarily on fat
reduction to improve blood circulation.
